The focus for this trimester is learning German and doing independent study.
Advent Webinar Part 2
We are pleased to be able to bring back our annual Advent offering by Rev. Patrick Kennedy. This year’s theme is “The Seed of the Woman.” Patrick will lead us in contemplating one of Christianity’s most profound and mysterious images: the Woman clothed with the sun from the Book of Revelation (Rev 12:1). We will trace this archetypal figure back to its roots in the depths of the human story, examining the connection between John’s apocalyptic vision and the first promise of redemption found in the so-called “proto-gospel” of Genesis (Gen 3:15). Through this two part exploration, Patrick will guide participants in discovering how these ancient scriptural images speak to the mystery of the incarnation of the divine in and through the Community of Christians.
